This is a performance model about Heat Transfer Oil (HTO) effect through the coil in the PCM storage medium. The user will set the inlet hot temperature (hot side) as a known value. Therminol-VP1 will be used as HTO. Users can change the PCM material by assigning the density, thermal conductivity, etc...The user can change the material and the fluid correlations. Therminol-VP1 data is stored in an excel sheet. The model will calculate the following:
1-Energy balances.
2-Thermal effectiveness.
3-Losses to the ambient.
4-Temperature outlet (hot side).
5-Storage temperature.

6-Temperature profile along the heating coil.
 
**MatLab-SimuLink should be used to run the model.
