This model is about single effect/NanoFilteration evaporation powered by mechanical vapor compression for seawater desalination. The plant includes the following:
1-Single effect evaporation.
2-Mechanical vapor compression.
3-Distillate/Feed preheater (plate heat exchanger).
4-Brine/Feed preheater (Plate heat exchanger).
5-Nanofilteration unit as a pre-stage.

 

**MatLab-SimuLink should be used to run the model.
