Multi Effect Distillation Mechanical Vapor Compression (MED-PF-MVC) configuration desalination plant is modeled via Matlab/Simulink. The plant contains:
1-MED-PF configuration.
2-Compressor for vapor compression process.
3-Mixer unit before the MED-PF unit.4-Distillate, feed and brine pumps.

5-Brine and distillate heat exchangers.

6-Exergy analysis.

7-Cost.

User should assign the followings:
-Compressor efficiency and addiabatic index.
-Pumps efficiencies.
-MED-PF number of effects, demister conditions, steam temperature, and blow down brine 
temperature.

 

**MatLab-SimuLink should be used to run the model.
