Thermal Photovoltaic Water Heater (PVTWH) collectors are used for heating the water and electricity generation simultaneously. This technique benefits from both light and heat of solar radiation to produce electricity and hot fluids. The hot water is used for space heating purposes. PCM storage is used to maintain heat supply to the waterside. This system is used for residential heating applications. The system is containing the following units:
1-Thermal photovoltaic with PCM and water inside tubes.
2-PCM storage tank/heat exchanger.
3-Boiler as a backup unit.
4-Application (Home, office, hospital, etc...).
5-Pumps.
User will be able to calculate the following:
1-Plate temperature.
2-Outlet water temperature.
3-Power.
4-Efficiencies.
5-Glass temperature.
6-Heat losses.
etc...

 

**MatLab-SimuLink (64bit) should be used to run the model.
