This model is about single effect evaporation powered by mechanical vapor compression for seawater desalination. The plant includes the following:
1-Single effect evaporation.
2-Mechanical vapor compression.
3-Distillate/Feed preheater (plate heat exchanger).
4-Brine/Feed preheater (Plate heat exchanger).
5-Exergy block has been added to the 2nd version.

User can edit and reform the model based on his need. Dynamic modeling is allowed. Matlab/simulink should be installed first on the user PC.
