The WAK is a portable dialysis device designed to enable patients to experience the benefits of daily dialysis while performing their normal, day-to-day routines. The WAK's unique design helps eliminate fluid on a regular basis to reduce strain on the kidneys, lungs, and heart while also reducing blood pressure. This simulink model has been developed in order to calculate the following:

1-Dialysate flow rate, mL/min 
2-Dialysance, mL/min 
3-Dialyzer clearance, mL/min 
4-Outgoing blood concentration, mg/mL 
5-Outgoing dialysate concentration, mg/mL 

6-Pumps spec's are calculated
